The Coaching School Commencement Address

If you’re going to be a coaching student, you need to know the difference between being a practical working business coach and somebody who simply studies coaching.'

What does it take to be the former? 

Today, I address this question by sharing the recording of my commencement address to the first cohort of graduates of the Book Yourself Solid® Associate Training Program.

So, I talk about the pros and cons of being self-employed, and I talk about how personal problems can sneak into your business.

And, I talk about how you can get around this problem to everyone’s advantage, and I note that you are not your business.

Then, I discuss the importance of taking responsibility for your actions–whether successes or failures– and I note the importance of (and the relationship between) sales and marketing.

In conclusion, I share the analogy of the marketing tree, and I note that Book Yourself Solid® isn’t just a program; it’s a way of life.
